• Just some encouragement:

  One of my campers a couple of weeks ago, was struggling doing devotions so I was able to talk to her quite a bit about it and really challenge her to be spending time in God's word.  I told her that I would email her every Sunday to get a report about how her devotions were that week.  Yesterday I got my first report, and it was such a blessing!  She went into detail listing points that she gleaned from the passage she studied, and was excited to share with me what God was teaching her.

  The thing about teaching others about the Lord, is that we do nothing worthy of any thanks or glory, since it is the Holy Spirit who really does the work, and yet God allows us to share in the excitement of watching others discover Him.

   

   

  This is our last week of camp.  Pray that we counselors would have the same passion we had the first week, sufficient energy, focus, and health.  Many of us had colds this past week, and some are currently much worse than I was.
